Gravity

PA DETAILER

DETAILED TODAY?
The movie. Got it on DTV this weekend. Amazing little 90 min. movie. No fluff all movie. The space shots are really something. Feels like your there.

Let me first say that I'm a SciFi buff. My wife bought this a week or so ago. After viewing it I asked her if she could get her money back. I considered this movie to be one of the worst I've ever seen. Totally predictable (could you see it coming with the fire extinguisher), virtually no cast, no real dialog, just an exercise in CGI (which it did well). Obviously, I'm in the minority as it did well with the awards.

Then I watched the Hunger Games... man I must really be getting old. I will publicly state this now. I will never watch the next release in this series. What in the world does the viewing audience see in Katniss. That girl can't act a lick. Woody needs to stay away from the pipe and go back to Cheers.

I considered both of these to be real sucky dog movies.

Sorry PA, didn't start out with the intention of being such a downer in your thread.

I saw Gravity in IMAX 3-D because I heard that is the only way to see the movie (and they were right). The 3-D really added a lot of depth to the space scenes and looked amazing but I thought everything other than that was terrible. I would never watch it on a regular tv.

The title mislead me into thinking someone try jump off a tree or house to test gravity....:crazy2:

I'm with you. This movie was god-awful. I nearly walked out (would've if I could've). You couldn't have written a more predictable script!

:swirly:
