I've been talking about doing this on my son's Grand Am for some time. I bought the car new in 2001 and sold it to him in '06. The headlight lenses have gotten progressively worse in the past year..... Yellowed, pitted, clouded.

Materials/Tools:

800 wet/dry sandpaper
1200 wet/dry sandpaper
2000 wet/dry sandpaper
Masking tape
PC 7424 w/4" Orange pad
M105 Ultimate Compound
Water in spray bottle
MF towel
Blackfire WD

The total project took less than an hour.....:D

I was about 30 seconds from being finished and I tore one of my precious 4" pads on that DANG LITTLE NUB that sticks out on the headlight lens!!!:mad::mad:

Remember we got the new Lake Country 4" inch Flat Polishing Pads in stock Bill to replace the one that was damaged. I got to use the orange one today and it works great on correction in those small areas.

Thanks Angelo... I'll be sure to order from you when I need more. I still have a pretty good supply for now.:D

Nice lenses Bill!! Mine arent that bad yet, they just have some scratches and small marks on them. Gonna try some M205 with the PC when I order it in just a few weeks...:)
