GR-40 FAQ? Vinegar?

I searched, but couldn't find the answer.

Does GR-40 trim cleaner really need to be neutralized with vinegar?

The one time I didn't use vinegar after application the dressing that was put on top didn't make it to the next wash. The same trim was cleaned again and dressing reapplied and it then had decent durability.

# GR-40 is applied with a small cloth, sponge, or detail brush.

# Wipe down the surface with vinegar and dry with a towel.

# Dry with a second cloth or towel.

Thanks Tispho :hifive:

I'm going to try GR-40 today. Yesterday I tried Magic Eraser with no success after trying several things:

- pure IPA

- 1z Acrysol

- ClearKote Moose Wax (great for trim and rubber)

- 1z plastik Reiniger

- etc...

I hope GR-40 will be the solution. :p
