So I got my black fire line up starter kit and a good test car. I go through a couple quarts of SIP a month and 85rd. So lets see how SRC compound and SRC Finishing compare.
The test subject is a black G35 with lots of rids, heavy swirls, and buffer trash left from some one else. This was not a full correction vehicle so I'm gonna use my same rules I use for menz products. 4-5 pass's with each polish working in about 2x2 section finishing a panel at a time. I usually can get cars in this shape about 90-95% swirl correction with menz combo this way. deeper scratch's usually get lighten up to all but invisible. On with the test.

Done! I didn't take and step by steps on this as I was on limited time and have a charity car wash going on in my parking lot right now so at best I was distracted.

Got whiplash?

As a testiment to how clean this car look I had a 6 year girl who is working with OBA car wash going on ask "How did you get the car so clean? I wish the ones we washed looked like that"

So all in all I like Black Fire the polish's are about the same as Menz I couldn't really tell that much of difference. How ever I think my usual combo of Fuzion/pinnacle tops out the BFWD topped with spray polymer. Ill buy some paste Black fire and see whats up in a side by side!

Special thank you to ACC for donating to the charity car wash today!

The kids raised over 1500$ in 4 hours and still got an hour left!

Thanks for looking

So which products in what order? Pads? A bit more information would be appreciated by those that have not used these products yet.

The improvement in the finish is nothing short of spectacular by the way.

Thank you for the review. The Infiniti looks very nice!
Welcome and thank you! Hey Todd quick question for you. I know you said there is no need to IPA wipe after finishing polish? I did it out of habit and didn't think about it is this gonna be a problem for the car? It looked fine I'm just a little worried if I should have the customer bring it back so I can correct that... Thanks

Excellent Work!

How did you find SRC compound and SRC Finishing compare to SIP or M105 and PO85 or M205

I'm interested in these products. Please tell about ease of use, work time, flashing, splatter, cleanup etc.

I find it interesting that it was stated that you can go directly from SRC Finishing to LSP without IPA.

I'm a big fan of the BFWD/BFMS combo. It's a different look.

I usually use Menz and I didn't realls see much of a difference, After looking back through some of my pics though I noticed there were some nasty scratches on the fender that SRC took right out. I'm actually 100% I wouldn't of got them with this service with SIP, Lightened up yes but gone no way. SRC compound does dust like crazy it drove me a little nutty actually I felt like I was using 3m perfect it compound or M105. Working time was nice but I got the feeling that you only should make a few pass's befor cleaning up and making another if you like. Clean up was about same as SIP alot of oil went through a lot a micro fibers but thats normal so no biggie there. The finishing polish made a noticible improvement in the finish even after IPA, Just like 85rd would. So SRC compound I'm still playing with I like its cutting ability hate its dusting and finishing polish I dont see any visual or use for that matter difference from menz i usually use. hope this helps
