Got to work on something very different yesterday

Universal is filming a new Fast and Furious movie here in Georgia. I ended up picking up the company that handles all the film cars as a client and they've been calling me for all kinds of stuff.

I have a lot of images working on a rig that has a 50' tall x 500' green screen built around it, working on some cars during some night filming, some other stuff inside their warehouse and all kinds of other neat stuff. It would be wrong of me to post up many of the images because it would take away from what they do and I appreciate them more than that. But there are already plenty of shots of this beast to be found on the web and this wasn't a shot during filming so it's "aight".

Using a real-deal dslr is a no-no, due to the perception that it would be for distribution so I just took a phone camera shot.

One of the many "hero" cars....

The doors must weigh about 150# each. Just opening them took muscle and effort! Washing it took forever! It's going back to the manufacturer, located in Canada, today.

Thats funny. I did a lot of the side vehicles that were used in the movie for large car lot scenes. Heard the company they were using to keep everyones cars clean where scratching the living **** out of them. Good to see they finally changed companies.

That is not funny tho!

What did they say? Someone was abusing the extra's cars?

Ya I know a lot about it. Kinda ruins it a bit as I find the movies entertaining...

I ENVY YOU!

You will still probably "feel like a kid watching saturday morning cartoons" when you see this movie. Definately shouldn't ruin it for you, but even make you feel somewhat part of it.
