Gt my new tires put on my Murano on Friday that's the good news.....Got home and decided to take a few pics and noticed that someone had backed into the plastic bumper and left me a nasty scratch on the rear bumper.

So now I have to look at a body shop to see what can be done.....I'm thinking that I can get it air brushed and that will mask it.....I hate when people bang your car and then just leave it
 
I got these from the local Les Scwab,the genereal manager is one of my neighbors.....I got these out the door for $520 with 90 days same as cash...They are the Toyo Proxies ST, I got them just a bit over sized so they have a much wider look than the original ones.

I agree I love getting new tires and even better new rims! :-p
 
I thought you just bought the car :confused: how many miles did you get on the first set of tires?

Not real proud of this but the tires where not rotated enough so the front ones wore to the outside badly....Also for what ever reason the factor tires never would balanced to the after market rims and that caused some problems...These new ones are balanced perfect....I got almost 30K on the factor tires sould have got another 10K
 
I also own a Murtano and had the same problem after 30k I had to change the tires to. I wonder if this is something that occurs commonly with Muranos

Mine was the rims more than anything....when I brought the car...I had the dealership buy the original rims back and I put the ones pictured on....They worked on the front end tires for quite a while before they could get the tire to balance....Every time I had the tires rotated and that was only twice I had them rebalanced and they could never get them right....I'm not sure if this had anything to do with it but I put 9.5 x 18 inch rims on and the factory is 8.5 x 18 the new tires are much wider so they seem to fit the rim better.
