Got my first "off the street" customer!

I've only been offering my detailing services on a part time basis for the past 7 months and I just got my first customer who found my site through an internet search! I've been doing mostly word-of-mouth referred customers and I don't do any advertising. The main purpose of my site is for people who I give my business card out to, so they can check my prices, pictures out before paying for something. It turns out this guy just moved to the area and was looking for someone to detail both of his cars. WooHoo for me!

Congratulations! If you keep doing good work and putting your name out there where people can see it, the business will come.

The guy said he was impressed with my site. I'm assuming that it made the difference in him calling me vs. another company, although there aren't that many detailing places around here, so his choices were limited.

Yeah, but his beautifully detailed cars will be why he calls you again. :)

Hopefully! He said he wanted both of his cars done, so that sounded promising! I'm sure he'll be pleased with my work.

Congrat's what an awesome feeling I'm sure!

Also, I hope that referral of telling 8 friends is true, because I started my business 5 wks ago and I hope its spreading like a wild fire :)

Should the rules of retail stand true, he'll tell 8 of his friends about you. That's how it all begins.

That would be nice. Unfortunately there are only a few more months of detailing weather left for me!

Real nice looking site that you have there!

How close are you to Wilmington DE?

What machine & products do you use?

Very nice site. Color compliment each other and it's easy to navigate. It sucks living in the snowbelt when you detail :( I feel your pain on that one. Congrats on the new customer.

I'm not close to Deleware at all. I actually live 50 miles northwest of Philly in Reading, PA. I just commute to Philly for my job.

I use the Makita rotary for swirl/scratch removal and the Porter Cable polisher for final removal of any rotary swirls/holograms and application of polishes, etc.
