got a question

search threads they are here just search. but using your pc or a corless drill and a medium cut polish followed by a final polish works great.

Check out the detailcity store...I'm sure you'll find products specifically for restoring plastics

If you're only talking about very light scratches, a product like Flitz should be able to take care of them or, at the very least, make them less noticeable. If they are deeper than fine scratches, I don't know if they could be restored. Do you have any pictures?

How do you restore scrached- up plastic, or can you even restore it

Let me see if I can answer this question not beat around it...what kind of plastic are you trying to fix?...smooth, grainy, or clear plastic? is this on the outside of the car or inside.....Most plastic you can remove scratches from but this depends on how bad they are and where they are at.

its grainy, gray, and on the inside; some scratches are prettey deep, but most are very minor

Chip

I was hoping that was not the case....is this trim on your doors....the grainy type of plastic is real hard to do anything with....I have the same problem with my Murano its scratched on the bumper...If you could post a pic of this there might be a solution or maybe give us a better description of the plastic location what happened to it and so forth...this helps greatly

I'll post pics once i can figure out my dads digital camera, which shouldnt take long, and oh yeah, how do you edit you profile
