Hello, new member here. I bought this car about eight months ago and it has consumed my entire attention. beimg that she is black, and I drive around so much, I have to wash it three times a week. But after all the work she makes me do I still love her. I am new to detailing in that I dont have any powered tools or anything just some mcguiers bottles and cans and alot of rubbing. Here she is 1994 Lexus LS400 with tons of options and 160,000 long miles.

You might start by looking at Poorboys World, Spray & Wipe....its a waterless wash that WILL save you lots of time with the bucket and hose....Other than that use the search feature to search out your questions

Wow, in the pic that could be my car - but mine's the dark blue (star saphire)and is a couple years newer (1997). But I've got just about the same number of miles you do....
You'll find lots of tips and excellent advice here, and I bet you'll quickly discover exactly how nice that LS can look.
One thing you might research and then try that's pretty easy to do, inexepnsive, and makes a huge difference is "claying" the car with overspray or detail clay. Essentially, it's like rubbing silly putty all over your paint after spraying it with a lubricant, either a spray or simply fresh soapy water. A quick search here will get you started, there is even an entire forum area for it under "detailing products".
