A buddy of mine just told me about his father in laws truck that he wants detailed. I told him "no prob...just have him call me". Then he drops the bomb on me as to what the truck is.
1955 Cevrolet 3100 Stepside truck. Original paint, motor and owner. Apparently it's been sitting in the garage for at least ten years. Neighbors have brought him $10,000 cash but he wouldn't sell it. He is wanting to get rid of it now and wants it to look as good as possible.
My conerns are about how I need to treat this paint. Obviously it's going to be SS. It's yellow. Could some of the pro's chime in with some feedback?
The owner has an idea of what he wants for it and I think I am going to ask for a percentage of whatever he gets above his asking price.
I will obviously have to do the undercarriage, motor, interior and paint so it will turn out to be a lot of work.
