I am going mobile for a bit.. My question is how will i have a power supply?? I haven't tried being mobile yet.. I am doing a A toyota tomorrow. Should i do everything by hand?? I have the trusty old shop vac.. Should i just ask the customer to plug into his power?? Should i use the 2 bucket method.. Help.. :flamed

a. generator
b. extra battery with power invertor
c. ask customer prior to detail... easiest.

For the 2 bucket method.. Alway always use it. I would try to use a pc if you have it. You can do work by hand but it takes long time and is tiring. IF you work by hand work in 1x1 foot sections. Good Luck and make sure to take pics. :D

I've never had a problem with a customer letting me use their power. Every house I've encountered has had some sort of plug that is easy to get to either outside or in their garage. Just bring a long extension cord. Same thing goes with water. If they've never had a mobile detailer who brings everything, then I bet they're expecting you to have to use theirs. I carry a hose for this too because everyone has an outside faucet but most people don't have nice hoses. lol

I agree with Intel about power and have not had problem with customers yet. I use the two bucket method using QEW.
Good luck with going mobile.
