Apply coat of Meguiars Cleaner Wax.

Apply coat of Meguiars Paint Cleaner.

People who are willing to pay 400 dollars for a detail aren't tring to do it themselves. Maybe

find customers are willing to pay what you want to charge. Not every detail has to be that much either.Did you check your pms? Joe.

Both really, although I will be stationed at home. I like the massive client effects of lower prices, but I also desire to detail club member cars at my local car club...

I don't know where you live but you may find it awefully hard getting customers to come to your home, driving all that way to pay for a $15-$40 dollar wash/wax??

Most of the clients I've done tell me the beauty of my services are that I'm willing to come to them.

You'll find much more success being a mobile detailer and bring home the big jobs that will take multiple days to complete.:idea

From another angle: I've been manufacturing (small scale) clothing and canvas products for longer than most of you are old... I started by working evenings and weekends - basically making samples while learing - and charging almost nothing just to get expirence. Once I created a demand that I could fairly-clearly see would increase, then I dropped my paycheck lifeline. I lived 'above the store' like today's Koreans or Mexicans 'till I could afford to buy acerage on a creek. Don't be afraid to be humble.

I've always believed that the true gem in auto detailing is machine polishing. That's what seems to impress most people and makes the biggest improvement. It would probably be faster than doing the work by hand. Anyone can go to walmart and by DC1, 2, and 3, but you won't be able to find any Optimum Polish or Zaino there.
