Very true on both points!

For now I have more important things to spend money on like paying bills and food !

My fake alarm came today and I installed it along with the fake alarm alarm sticker.Looks convincing enough to me unless some professional thief is after my things.

I honestly think I will be fine as long as I remember to lock it!

But Maybe I will find an alarm installer who will do work trades,that would be ideal!

I was reading the crime reports for my town and realized its not as safe as I thought! Lots of car and home thefts in my area .

Im not sure anywhere is totally safe.
 
Someone try to break in my place on black Friday 5 years ago around 2 am. He lost when I had my gun pointed at his head ( GLOCK 31 ) and I made him get on his knee's then I zip tie him and waited for the sheriff to arrived. Thanks to my dogs and God because I was ready to shoot ( no safety on ) his head off. Glad to see you OK DC.

Yeah, I'd say a .357 pointed toward the noggin would be enough motivation to never try that stunt again.... you definitely got lucky!
