Go raid you local sears NOW!

I walked in, made a run around the store while the people there looked at me like I was crazy and walked back out. They didn't have any. So, who bought them all??? :(
 
One Eagle One product in the whole store......tire cleaner. Got it for $1.07. The counter guy tried to tell me, "You don't want that S%$T, it'll rot your tires. We don't believe in tire 'dressing' around here." Alrighty! I know all you Autopians cleaned out my Sears! :D

Did you go to the Glendale store? If so, then I'm the one who cleaned them out. E-mail me if you want some of my supply.....I bought too much.

Nope, I went to the one in Puente Hills. Haha...it's alright, I still have a few more stores to go to, I'll avoid the Glendale one! Thanks!
 
I did the same thing this saturday and had the same reaction. I went to the counter and asked the guy where their detailing suppies were.



His look was :confused:



So I asked again, "you know, stuff to wash your car and make it look pretty - things like wax"



He went and checked with some other people who were equally confused until one realized what it I had asked for. He took me to the back corner of the store where on one shelf was a gift box of turtle wax stuff that he said was fantastic stuff.



He said that wsa the only shelf and there was no EO stuff there. I was sad and went home. I felt so disappointed, I was going to clean them out of that stuff.



On the plus side though, I did notice they sell purolater oil filters for much cheaper then pepboys.
 
I finally found a Sears in AZ that had some. 3 bottles for $1.07 each so I picked them up. Had to drive 20 + miles to get there but at least I got in on the EO tire cleaner buy. LOL



I also picked up a can of Never-Dull wadding polish for $1.47 too.

Sounds like one of my wife's shopping trips to "save" money. Drive 40+ miles round trip, get 4 items you didn't really need at a little over 1/2 price, save a total of less than 5 bucks.

Yeah, it wasn’t a total loss trip just to get the EO tire cleaner. I had a car to quote on for a new customer and he lives right down the street from the Sears store so I kind of killed two birds with one stone. Looks like I’ll be getting the job from the new customer so that will put $100 bucks in my pocket so that will offset the long trip for the EO. LOL

I passed on the A2Z because I think it’s the old formula which uses the acid ingredients. They have reformulated this product to make it more wheel friendly. The new formula is in the Orange bottle and the old acid formula is in the black bottle.
