If anyone remembers this car
well it turned into this recently
literally before I could even open my trunk to get my spray to wipe down my front bumper from the 60 mile drive to the monthly club meet, the owner was already at my car wanting to book an appointment soon
the only reason he gave me for trading hellcats was that he got tired of having a black car
●So here is where I`m looking to get some other opinions here, as I still have time to buy any product I may want to use that I don`t already own.
this will not be a coating job, but I am keeping the option open to use pblv2 or even cancoat
this will be completed at his residence as a mobile job-which i didnt really want to do but as an existing client I`m okay considering I let him know I wouldnt do anything more than a light polish mobile-no coatings like csl etc.
there`s another thing too, he lives in a city that has water restrictions on washing at home so I might be limited to RW. also, this job can`t take more than a day as I`ll be driving almost 2 hours to get to the job site
so im thinking RW, clay and a light polish such as Essence or pro polish
but then what to use?
first option that came to mind was Polish Angel escalate or their finishing polish (great reason to buy it, lol)
and then Master Sealant
and if I ever came back bi monthly or something I could add high gloss or zirkon then
So I asked the owner if he wanted more bright glossy shine or a deeper wet look and he said he`d like it deeper and to "look like a miror" so I thought about blackfire tps and black ice. I have used black ice in the past on hemi orange with great results
then I thought I`d just start a thread where you tell me what you`d do
remember this is a mobile job
can Not use water at his home (there is a coin op availahle if necesary)
garage access available
no coatings (unless its PBLv2-as I need to get rid of the rest of that bottle anyways)
i will be attempting to not bring a ton of products and the goal here is to set a solid base layer of brand X product which can be topped later with same brand Xs waxes, etc. and I can also order some of same brand Xs detailer ir RW concentrate to provide for the customer as he maintained his black hellcat surprisingly well after my work
so what would you use?
