GMC Serria Z71 Pickup

Beemerboy

Just One More Coat
Buddy is selling this truck and asked that I get it ready for him..its in great shape for the year...here are the pics of the finished ride

With th rotary in hand I used a light cutting pad with SSR2.5 to start lots of water spots from the sprinklers on both sides...then I followed with polish pad and Ardex 4212 swirl remover for black...its a high temp product and chemical based so it really digs in...The a finishing pad with P-w-S and topped with Natty's red!

The tires undercarriage and engine have all been sprayed with Stoner More Shine

I currently am helping him with the sale its listed on CraigsList if anyone has interest you can PM me about it.

Sorry the sun was in and out during the shoot so some are not as good as others

I am familiar with that kind of truck. Wish I had his seats. I hate my cloth seats. Great color for a truck I mite add!! Lots of paint surface eh, Beemerboy!!

I sure do Steve, this one was a lot of work but I've had the truck for over a week...Currently I am helping him sell it on Craigslist

Very nice job Beemerboy. I agree the Ardex 4212 is an unbelievable product on black.

I had this in the back of the shelve, I was working with a ton of water spots so after the SSR2.5 I decided to give it a try...the one thing that I like about it, is you can really work it in...until there is no residue left...its a real clean finish

You guys are wimps, trucks are nothing! I've got a few rigs I regularly maintain with 8"+ lift :crazy2:
But, I like trucks :D

Looks great, Dave. If the timing was a bit better I'd have to look into buying it off him. I dig that color.

Just as a follow-up I sold the truck today for 14K a bit below what he wanted but its a real soft market for these trucks...its a mom and dad buying it for there college son who is home on spring break...I meant them all at lunch and they all have trucks..and two older 50's trucks fully restored...this truck is going to a good home:bigups
