Gloss-It - all I can say is WOW...

Nope, not kidding at all. I think you are getting quite a bit worked up on a mediocre product (according to numerous on here) which was used by a pretty good detailer on an already nice finish. Saying that, I would vote for the cars Scottwax posted using Megs and Clearkote products over those Gloss It picks any day of the week.

I agree. After seeing threads on here and other forums I was not impressed at all by that Ferrari.

I think if this proves anything it's that your details are only going to be be as good as the car you're working on.

Do I find it amazing that a Ferrari and Bentley look awesome with a good detailer? Nope

I guess everyone missed this at the bottom of the pictures I posted:

Point is, relatively orange peel free paint will look amazing with even minimal effort.

Late to the post here but as stated it dosen't matter what products you use. 95% of all results are from the technique of the detailer and his skills... NOT the product. anyone that says otherwise is just shilling the product in question.

My buddy's got a '95 525i that is COVERED in swirls and guess what? It looks like this on cloudy days.

Don't understand why everybody is getting so fired up about this video. It's starting to border on annoying.

I agree with Jake and Scott, I will add that a buddy of mine tried Gloss-It products and thought they were good - maybe not worth the price they're asking, but they did fine. He gave me a sample of the QD and I think it's one of the better QD's, but I wouldn't buy it at the price they have set.

The bolded probably sums up Gloss It products. Decent products that are over priced.

Wasn't it Gloss-It that made DavidB do the whole public apology thing?

Their whole marketing method just leaves a sour taste. And I really wish their forum software would quit sending me spam. It's hard to pin down to any one particular thing, but just the overall feeling I get about their products has kept me from even *wanting* to try them. And for me, the "I gotta try it" bug is not easily squashed.

Now I guess I'll just sit back and wait for the lawyers to call and tell me I have to apologize for this post.:nervous2:

Man, that Ferrari got FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRED UP!

Why do I have a feeling that the three of us are about to be PM'd by the nearest Gloss-It shill with info on how good it is and why we should try it?

In that case we'll have to buy some of their products! :nervous2::nervous2::nervous2:

For accuracy, Im looking for that PM that the shill on another forum sent me over the winter. It was a new forum, and there werent many posts in the Detailing section. I put up a shot of a black car I did with M105 and such and the guy went nuts posting links to thier products. (Great google search result trick. We were indeed born yesterday dont you know! This is why I wont type the company name in my posts)

He even PM'ed me a link to some $400 Cyclo kit with Edge pads!

He went on to stroke my work in a few posts, then bash me over not wanting to try the stuff.

From that experience alone, I wouldnt spend any money on their products. My loss, Ill live with it. I know some enjoy using their stuff.

I didn't miss anything Scott. Don't take my post the wrong way. Your an amazing detailer and most of us inspire to be 1/2 as good as you some day.

Wow All I can say is wow they're all high end cars. Wow how come no before

and after pics? And finally,:LOLOL

All I can say is WOW. The prices for it are outrageous!

Just kidding with you man. But for the price they want, I'll pass.

I'm in agreement with most of the posts here. I believe product does play a role in the correction of a car's finish. End of the day, however, it is the proper application that nets the results. For me, what I seek in a new product these days is durability. I don't think there is anything on the market that is a magic detailers dream. Though I believe, and I think most would agree, the product that has most recently made a pretty huge impact has been 105?!
