I looked across the street to my neighbors house today.(I just had to grab my camera) I noticed that he was getting a new windshield installed.

I guess thats a pretty convenient place for the technicians tool box!!:eek:

Looks like a canvas bag, shouldn't hurt anything as long as he doesn't slide it around. I do that with my tools all the time, but I try to lay them down on a towel at the very least.



But if you properly detailed your car, tools would slide right off.

I'm a plumber and own my own business, we don't put our tools on anyones counters or floors. We always use a drop cloth.



Nevermind putting "anything" on delicate surface such as Car Paint. Thats just plain ignorance!! IMO :angry
 
You should send an email with that pic to the company stating this is why you will never get my business.
 
Had the windshield replaced on my car not to long ago, he got some sort of substance on my paint and then "tried" to clean it off with a paper towel and some sort of aerosol cleaner.

Yeah, I misread this and thought the guy was putting the windshield on himself.



Very unprofessional indeed.
 
I was a victim of it myself.



He dragged the vaccum hose and cord over my paint. Not to mention the paint was extremely soiled from the winter so it scratched it up nicely. Filed a claim and the insurance took my side, paid me, and went after the careless "pros".
