Glass cleaning

Ew, my problem with WW is that they have become inadvertently soiled with wax or polishing oils so they won't clean/absorb anymore. I have a few WW towels I haven't found an alternate use for because I mis-maintained them :)

It seems that all WWs eventually quit working well, but if it's just oils/LSP residue I'd think you could wash 'em in something that'd get that out.

Well I started out with the Meguiar's WW "Water Magnet" towels, and while they don't absorb anymore, they also feel really rough (which is why I started using them on glass since they got fired from paint duty). I've been going with the more expensive Cobra towels from AG (both green for paint and blue for glass) and have been pleased so far. I may take my old Water Magnet towels and try to do an overnight soak in warm water with vinegar and see if it brings them back.
