Giving samples of services

Hi,

Thought it would be a good idea to give samples of detailing services to gain customers. Does anyone have experience with this or any tips? Thanks.

I'm curious about what you mean by samples as well. My rule is to never work for free. It'd be interesting to do a 5050 on their hood and charge them to finish. Ha.
 
I'm not a professional detailer, but I am a professional sales person. If I were a professional detailer, I would totally offer to correct a couple of square feet of surface, put a swirl light on the corrected v. uncorrected area, and see where it went from there. It would be an interesting experiment, but my guess is that I would sell some jobs by doing this.
