(Giveaway) How many of you frequent both AGO and Autopia?

Visit and post on both sights. Since I'm just a hobbyist and don't purchase a great amount I'll buy from whoever is running a sale with free shipping.

I visit both forums and shop at both sites. I found Autogeek 1st. I would say until maybe halfway through this year the majority of my shopping was done through Autogeek by far. That has gradually fluctuated from Autogeek to Autopia. Guessing now about 70 percent Autopia vs Autogeek and it's affiliate sites. Honestly two fold; I have found somewhat better comparison shopping deals promo codes for Autopia but the other side is the Fed Ex shipping which I found to be consistently more reliable than UPS even if it comes a day later. I had a buildup of problems from carelessly tossing boxes that can't be tossed and leaving boxes anywhere but my front door including to streets down. And it was the person who lived there who ran down a UPS guy not UPS's efforts. And I know Autopia and Autogeek would take care of but if the price is close I'll often pick Autopia for those reasons.

I much prefer this forum but I do go over there when I need more input and the new posts are not enough to pass my time.

I buy here whenever I can.

I have purchased from AG prior to joining the forums here. Since I have joined this forum, not only have I spent entirely too much money (lol), but I have been loyal to purchasing from Autopia exclusively. The customer service I have experienced has been over the top.

Visit both sites once a day typically, bought once from ag, and just recently made my first acc purchase after years of shopping elsewhere.

I'm somewhat of a newbie here, but have been on AGO for a long time, following Mike P. when he moved from Meguiar's. The atmosphere here is more casual and friendly, but AGO is more informative, so I visit both regularly. Haven't placed an order recently, 'cause I'm pretty well stocked up. AG has BOGOs that I often take advantage of, but ACC has far more giveaway opportunities. Win or lose, the anticipation alone adds a bit of excitement to an otherwise boring day, so I'm gonna have to move some of my purchases in the ACC direction.

I also visit both forums and post in both. I also purchase from both and I find prices are usually about the same.

But I feel more at home here.

I have been at AGO longer, about 2 years. Most of my shopping has been there. I recently made my first purchase from here and had a great experience with customer service (Bryan). I prefer the board here, it seems more casual. I tend to shop for the discounts and especially free shipping. I have never requested price match. Not sure why, but when I am getting something at 15-20% off and getting a deal on shipping, I feel I am getting a very reasonable deal.

I have been on the Autopia forum for many years. There is a great group here that helps each other, I do look at AG forums, but I am not a member there. I recently started purchasing from these sites. ( Autopia, Pinnacle, BF, WG, AG ) since I got a new car last year, probably in the order. I usually look for shipping deals since I don't use much. I have had the experience of the excellent customer service from Autopia which is where I start.

I first started using AGO and buying from AG back in 2008. I was already a member of autopia.org way before PBMG acquired it but I frequented AGO more. But since PBMG acquired Autopia, I started visiting the Autopia forums more and more. I recently made a big purchase (BOSS G21 and Rupes 75E) and I couldn't believe the service I got from Ray. Ever since then, I try to use Autopia for all my detailing needs as much as possible.

I still visit AGO and Autopia forums very frequently - in fact, multiple times a day!

I always check both sites to get the best deal. With Autopia's price match guarantee, I now always go to Autopia unless my request is declined. I like Autopia's customer service, reward system and of course you can't beat CONNECT!

I shop at both and visit both forums...I love reading Mike Philips articles

Ray and Nick are my favorites

I'm a member of both, and frequent each site daily. I've come to see AG as school and Autopia as the clubhouse.

AG seems to carry more new things, so I'll typically look at the "What's new" store page first.

Give Autopia points and now Connect there's little reason to place an order anywhere but here. Even it the item only appears on AG: I know Ray/Paul/ Jesse can get it for me. :)

I lurk AGO sometimes when it gets dead on here. I only login and post here.

I frequent all the detailing sites and when I look to purchase something I look for the best deal and give ACC the chance to price match. Early on I would jump back and forth between AG and ACC until the rewards program.

Autogeek seems to be a busier place with possibly more information if you were to use the search feature for something specific. Autopia's staff seem to be much more involved on this forum though which I thoroughly enjoy and appreciate. I recently transitioned to doing all of my shopping through Autopia because I know I can get the best price and I earn reward points to be used at a later time which is a nice bonus.

I had a really long post made up on my phone yesterday, then i accidently hit the back button lost it all and went to bed. I will try again....
I started out lurking on both fourms and after a few months i was finally tempted into joining autopia forums for a number of reasons. The giveaways......i will win one someday.... i hope. ;) Mainly i joined this forum because of its open friendly and inviting community. The fact that discussions are open and honest bring more value to reviews and comparisons, because people can say while product x from here works ok, product y from somewhere else does it quicker better cheaper whatever. Even though that is not normally the case. I appreciate that people have been willing to help answer my newbie questions and doing it in a friendly and encouraging manner. I do still do some lurking at ag, because to be fair they have some great info there as well, and not everything is duplicated. As far as purchasing goes my first big detailing purchase was a bunch of chemical guys stuff off of amazon, then i found these websites and have since regreted a few of my purchases. Then i ordered once from here and once from ag. (What i was new and didn't know any better, besides that was pre connect. :o ) anyways its been all autopia ever since. :autopia: thanks goes out to the autopia guys for being friendly and helpful both to me personally on the phone and to everyone on the forums. Anyways, happy new year everyone! :D

I started here back in the early 2000's. Then left when the website changed because it causing problems with my PC and stopped coming over here for a few years. I can't stand the forum layout on AGO. Ridiculous number of topic categories, but I like to read what Mike Phillips is discussing. I look at both forums regularly and shop at both websites. There's just not enough traffic on ACC forum sometimes. I probably spend more time on Detailing World than any other one. I like to learn about products we can't get yet
