Amen brother. Common forum decency is a given, but outside of that I don't want to have to think about everything I'm posting. I have no problem with them making the rules to fit their goal, but that's a big reason this place is #1 for me

I feel the same way. I don't have anything specific to back this statement up, but I feel like although it's busier over there, the topics/questions/discussion is very repetetive.
 
When I first got interested in detailing, an online search led me to the AG site. After hearing about some products that AG didn't carry, like the HD line, I found Autopia. I read the posts on both forums because I like the variety of information and there's always something I can learn.

My initial purchases were from AG but I signed up for Connect so now I'm buying from Autopia. The service has been outstanding for the few orders I've placed.

Ive been here since David B owned it....just took a break for a while. I dont purchase much, but ill order from here if I do.

I do check in on AGO, but the way the forum is structured gives me a migraine.
 
I've also been here since the David B days. I'm a former moderator. I have never been on AGO

I haven't shopped in a while but when I do I'll shop here ACC. Sounds like fantastic customer service
 
I am on both sites, post mainly here (seem to like it here, probably for more open discussion) since the acquisition.

Purchases from whichever has a better deal for sales. There are things that ACC carries that AG doesn't like PA. If I was a connect member ( still contemplating but unsure since I will be living out of the country around September and not sure how it would work) I would solely buy here.

I use both sites but have been posting here more regularly as of late. Just set up my ACC order and plan to do pretty much all of my ordering through here now.
 
I frequent both forums, browsing daily. Been here for a long time. Purchase mostly from AG, for no real reason. Great forums, great people!
 
Most evenings I'll look at both, but I've started looking here first lately. I like it better. There's less repetition of questions, and the quality of responses is better. More mellow vibe.
I used to buy much more at AGO, but now that I got connect, I'll be buying here more. I comparison shop with AG, but haven't tried price match yet; I usually order in the evening or weekends because I am at work during office hours and am on West Coast. maybe I'll email here to request next time there's an AG sale.

You're doing good things with this forum and store guys, props to you.

PS, the one feature I like with the AGO forum software is the "today's posts" filter button in addition to new posts. Is there an equivalent option here that I just can't find?
 
I check both sites for the sales, but only purchase from ACC.

I used to frequent the AGO board but didn't get along with the nonsense over there. As mentioned, the quality of posting here is top notch. I've been on a lot of message boards over the years, and this is my favorite of all. Just a really great group of people- genuine, helpful, insightful and very giving of time and knowledge.
 
While im a member over at AGO, I maybe only have a couple posts at most. When it comes to shopping, I don't even usually bother to look at AG. Usually just go straight to Autopia. Customer service cant be beat and I rarely bother to try and price match
 
I read both forums, Autopia for its openness and AGO for PBMG related products.
The sales and deals typically drive me as to where I buy and that means I am almost always alternating between AG and Autopia both. I have always appreciated the sales and customer service that I have hardly ever bought anything from other stores that's available at PBMG sites. Almost on daily basis I visit the "what's new" section on AG.

Some wish list for both sites :
- At times I find good combo offerings listed on one site(e.g. 3 or 6 pad combos) but not the other so I tend to reach out to Ray for that.
- Also if the new products could be listed on both sites at about the same time. Autopia typically catches up slow to AG new items.

- also wish that all reduced price items that are marked "sale price" somehow could be seen under the "special values" section. Doesn't matter if that page ends up being too long or requires several pages but if anything is marked down from its retail price, i wish such things could all be seen in one place. Will increase your sales too.

Never really gone through price match option between the two sites.
Thoroughly enjoy ordering from both sites though.

Ditto, why order anywhere else ? Ray / Paul beat all deals and with auto-connect its a no brainer :)

I visit other forums for info and new products but come here for ordering.
 
I check their site and then have u guys price match if it something i wanted (connect member). I originally purchased/discovered AGO from power block tv ads. I honestly don't even remember how i came across this forum but obviously i like it and stayed. i don't even remembermy ago forum login info.

I check their forum probably twice a week maybe more, mostly from ending up interested in one of Mike's threads and being bored at work.
