My desk is piling HIGH with car care products and I thought this would be a fun way to giveaway a few goodies that have ended up on my desk for some reason :)

How many of you frequent both AGO and Autopia?

Do you frequent both forums, but only purchase through one store?
Do you check out both sites for the best deal, then buy it as a price match?

Any and all information would be appreciated. Simply answer the question in as much or as little detail as possible for a chance to win a random prize.

I normally just look on AAC, but sometimes look on ag, but always call Autopia

Frequent both, but we friendlier and funner here
 
I am mainly on this forum. Only been on other forum if there has been a thread linked to it. I have only purchased from this site.
 
I check out autogeek's forum from time to time just to see what's goin on over there, but this is my home. I've bought a lot of products through them over the years, but between my activity on this board, the customer service and help from our resident mods/employees, price matching, and connect, I will order whatever I can through Autopia
 
I visit both forums but mainly post here cause it's fun and not so strict and better looking.

I visit all sites to see who has the best deal and give AAC the chance to price match before I purchase from another place.

my connect membership is the main reason I come back. I paid for it. I'm going to use it. it gives me the extra 10% for even a better deal

I usually check both forums but like this forum better. Staff seems more involved and the community over all is better. I found AGO first so that's where I started then moved onto here. No reason to buy from multiple places since Autopia price matches and the Connect membership makes it worthwhile. Most importantly, the customer service here outstanding. These are just my overall experiences.

I don't have Connect so I frequent both sites and forums. I like Autopias reward system so I try to order from here when I can but it seems to me AG had more and better sales and promos this year. Every time there were concurrent sales somehow I went with Autogeek especially during their 12 days of Xmas sale which was ridiculous (30% off Wolfgang!). From a consumer's perspective I feel like PBMG should consolidate all sites to one or two sites. One for personal use consumers who buy smaller quantities and the other for professionals who buy larger quantities. Having multiple sites selling more or less the same thing with different sales and promos gets confusing and I'm sure it increases labor on your end with all the price matching and special requests.

All my purchases come from here or AG. Except for MF.

Usually boils down to the better sale/deal at the time. Seriously considering pulling the trigger on Connect and then most purchases will be here.

My car also somehow made it onto the Autopia FB page:) that's pretty cool and a loyalty builder.

They price match ag sales + if connect 10% better.

I use both forums. I like them both a lot. I have bought from both AG and ACC in the past year, but now since I am connect member, I get it all at Autopia. There is no difference between the stores for the most part, they both have excellent customer service.

I frequent both, but started (this addicting mess lol) here at Autopia, came back here when it was under PBMG. I purchase from both, not good for my sanity &#55357;&#56834; The really sad part about that is I travel a lot so I'm not even able to open my orders as soon as they arrive &#55357;&#56852; Booo.
 
I visit and post on both forums. I also shop in both stores. I visit both forums multiple times a day!!! It's an addiction!
 
I visit both forums a lot and read a lot on both but mainly post here on ACC. I find ACC a lot more friendly, social and open format. AG seems to have more foot traffic on the forum so I do like checking there for good reviews or comparisons tests but I am hesitant to speak up I fell like they are much more gudgie over there about your credentials and if they are not up to snuff you should shut up. I shop almost exclusively on ACC for detail products, I price match once in while but mostly just wait for ACC sales and use connect to get the stuff I want at a good discount. Only things I get else where is Micro fiber towels (RC) because the savings is close to 50 percent. For throw away micro fiber and applicators I use amazon, for the guys at work to use on the rubbish trucks as they are filthy and the guys use them like shop rags so most get 2-3 washes then in trash. Oh and I love the ACC chat box for just random fun chat and banter.
 
Started on AGO.

Came over here one day and asked why does this place exist when there is AGO???

Got to know the members on here through their posts and found out I like it better - even though there is less action. It seems like there are more old dogs on here that realize there is more to life than detailing. The OT section here is better.

Anymore, I rarely post on AG.

I bought most of my stuff through AGO before coming over here. I was one of those dudes that went completely nuts for about 2 years and bought anything and everything. Now, I have enough detailing products to last lifetimes. So, I haven't bought hardly anything in a few years.

I did buy my new Rupes Mk II from AGO because they had a gift certificate promotion; which was how I got a new Mk II FOR $300 out the door delivered + a sample + free gift. That was an offer I couldn't refuse.

Thanks to the members + Vega for making this a great place.
 
I've been on Autopia since 2003. I do visit both sites and used to purchase from both. Since becoming a Connect Member, I'd be crazy to order anywhere else except Autopia.

Plus, I get to bother Ray with PM's about my orders.:o
 
I research on both forums but Autopia is my home. I did buy a gift certificate on AG to use on some BOGOs or a new polisher that I can't get discounted. I purchase 95 percent of my supplies here on Autopia. Plus the information is better here and I don't have to worry about being banned for mentioning Turtle Wax or some other product. Long live Autopia!
