I would like to see some sort of qualification for people entering the contest.
What I mean is, it would be nice if the entry into the contest wasn't the only post from that member for the month.:notme:

Agree. I always see 'members' with a post count of "1" enter the contest and never post again. Makes you wonder if they make a new screen name (or 2-3) to better their odds......

I can see both of your points, but after 4+ years of give-aways, I have rarely if ever seen someone sign up under different names, as that is a violation of DC rules and would mean immediate banning (which is an easy check for Troy
) and yes I hope to see some post #1's in this thread as we have brought quite a few lurkers:dnaughty into active membership over the years. Yes, once in a while you will find a few people who only sign up to enter contests, but I think some very good members over the years started with entering a contest
