Getting car ready for painting

Sad little man

Tomorrow my car is going in for some paint work. I think it's been re-done before and a section is separtating. Anyway, one part is being totally repainted (a stone guarded section on the lower half of the car) and one part (the upper half of the panel above a body line) is just being re-cleared. Is there anything I need to do to the section that's just being re-cleared like strip off all the Zaino on it to ensure the new finish will adhere, or will the body shop probably sand down that whole section too?

Also, does anyone have any tips on how to mark the exact location of a badge on the front quarter so I can put it back on in the right spot and level afterwards?

Ask the body shop.. seriously, people always seems to be afraid to talk about their concerns.

you shouldnt have to strip anything, they should do it all.

the badges, just take the vertical and horizontal measurements from the bottom and the nearest panel gap.
