Getting a new Vette - long road trip - help!

Does your friend want a new car, or a used one?

I would ship it. If transported by reputable shipper, no one should have to worry? Sounds like you want an excuse to drive the car (not saying that's all bad though..), and your friend doesn't mind taking the risks, and mileage on the engine/etc. Gas, lodging ain't cheap either. I'm pretty picky, whenever I buy cars. You may not have a "friend in the end"?

of course I want to make the road trip! It's a new Vette! In fact, I may swing out to New England and then home and make a tour of the east coast/Annapolis out of it.

And my friend does not care how it gets there. No shipping.....

back to driving/protection suggestions.....

Even with all the protection you might want to get some Poorboys Bug Squash and a spray bottle express shipped.......works on glass also.

this goes without saying..already in a sprayer for other parts of car like windows, etc...

I would never speak for Todd but I think be meant wfs mask. He linked the right items

on backorder here and AG...I only see one problem with wolf's vs the $20 film above....you spend 20 min putting it on and the first thunderstorm takes a lot of it off...even the wolf's guy on a forum admits that...I almost wish it would come off with alcohol or a release agent instead...

I'm thinking the film and some radius parts in plastidip clear....

I'll take pics all the way thru the trip...but the plot thickens...GM just called and they will have their Bra avail within 2 weeks to put on. Yes I know they scratch long term, but I think will be fine for this one trip. So I guess I'll BF WD the front end and strap it on!

I used for a 600 mile roadtrip and seems to work great and was only $15 or so.

I'm a huge fan. While it is hard to tell if it is there or not, I don't believe a quick rainstorm will wash it off. Not even a hard rainstorm in my experience.
