I will agree with this statement. In the past I've only used carnauba's, but at least with AJ, it looks totally awesome so far. Well I used TC-3, but AJ beats it hands down.
I have used Clearkote RMG, followed by EXP (allow to cure), then #26.
Stopping at EXP allows for a very crisp, clean, clear, highly reflective surface. Adding the #26 gave it a bit of the wetter look and a bit more shine as well.
sfx-2, AIO, UPP x 2...and will be applying nattys either tomorrow or the next day. and I always find that a quick mist with clearkotes quickshine makes it looks 10 times bettter.
I never toped the ex-p because I really liked the way it looked and it seemed quite durable. This was all done with a pc though.
I think you could do a pretty good job with the poorboys line by hand as well. If you did not want to order give megs scratch x a try it is a pretty good product and top with nxt I have had good luck with it on white also.
I love EX-P, but prefer UPP - it seems to be more durable and it leaves the finish remarkably slick.
EX actually worked quite well, and I sold the truck before I could experiment with carnuba over sealant. It was fun experimenting, and now on white vehicles I tend to just use a sealant if there's a lot of pearl or metallic content, or top with a wax for wetness on standard finishes.
Here's a shot of my Mom's pearl-white ES300 after two coats of UPP.
