Q: First is chrome wheel cleaning?

Is simple Meguir's car wash soap good enough to get them to shine?

A1: The car wash concentrate will clean the surface of road dirt etc

Q: And also what type of wax can u use on them to help protect them.

A: 2 Klasse All In One, which is an acrylic polymer (polymers have a higher melting temp than a wax and are more suited to wheel surfaces)

Q: Now for the clay bar. I have the spray and I now I do it in 2 feet cubic sections after washing and drying car. It also says knead the clay after each section. How do I know when the clays dead, it says to keep using the whole piece. I donâ€â„¢t no if it will build up crap and scratch the paint... any tips?

A3: I would advise cutting the clay bar into smaller pieces (that way if you drop it on the ground you only throw away a small piece and not the whole bar. When you see the piece of clay youâ€â„¢re using is getting dirty fold and refold to a clean surface and use it, once there are no clean surfaces left relegate it to cleaning wheel surfaces

I would also suggest you download the (free) e-detailing book from this website

I don't have chrome wheels but Meg's Gold Class Shampoo works great on alloys as long as you do it regularly.

Definitely break the cay into smaller pieces.

The other tip is to only use one side of the clay "patty". When it gets dirty and you fold it over you'll always have clean clay exposed.

If you use both sides of the patty you have to knead it an awful lot more to expose good clay.

PC.

I should have added this-A1: The car wash concentrate will clean the surface of road dirt etc but youâ€â„¢ll need a non-abrasive chrome polish (Simichrome)
