Gas Prices????

Beemerboy

Just One More Coat
What making them go up now?

I filled up over the weekend at $3.39 and they are talking about $4.00 soon....My wife uses about a tank a week to get to work and back...at $60 a tank that it takes a decent dent out of her pay check just to get there and back

What are the prices in your area

Low grade here is $3.39
Top grade $3.80

Or there about for Northern California

I paid 3.54 yesterday for mid grade, so itsseems to be somewhat inline with what you are paying...luckily my job is close to home and so is my wifes...I think in the summer I may start riding my bike to work...

It was $2.99 for awhile here, now it's up to $3.09 for the low grade. I filled up on Friday, Sunday and probably today. Ouch, a lot of driving this past weekend.

I paid $3.09 for super and regular is $2.89 on average. That's here in the NJ suburbs right outside of Philadelphia. I know in Philadelphia it's 30 cents more a gallon and thats only 5 miles away from me.

We have a station here called Vallero that runs a "premium for the price of regular" specail on Tuesdays. Just filled up for $3.01 a gallon on 93 this morning. I always stop there on Tuesdays no matter how busy I am.

As of 2/26/2008 in Ankeny, Iowa.

Regular: $3.09 - 87 octane, this is real gas.

Ethanol: $2.96 - 89 octane. 10% Ethanol blend.

Premium: $3.26 - 91/92 octane, no Ethanol

We had a Clark station that did that but
About a year ago they went out of business :wall

Here in Miami, we have a lot of "Park and Ride" bus stops that takes all over Miami alongside US-1 in its own street aside from traffic. I have been seeing a lot more cars there, even some higher end ones. Its just not right to pay 120 bucks a week just to get to work and back. I used to have to fill up half way through the week.

The Gulf around the corner for me is at $3.14 for regular. Two weeks ago it was 2.99.I'm getting tired of this.

We actually have 2 or 3 of them within 10 minutes of my house. The Vallero is the only one that offers 93 though. The others only have 91 for premium.

I don't remember just what the octane was but I think it was 93 most here are 93 some are 94 but the 94 is much higher price.

I'm starting to regret my car's requirement for premium fuel. Damn turbos...:)
Considering I have the boost slightly jacked up on the GTP and the last two turbo cars were jacked even higher, I have no complaints about needing the premium.
Look at it this way:
12,000 miles a year @ 20 mpg = 600 gallons of fuel.
600 gallons at 20 cents a gallon more for premium = $120.
Pedal to the metal at full boost = Priceless. :bigups:bigups:bigups

It's less than $2.50 a week. Just skip one Pepsi, maybe two, a week and you have it covered. :D

Drive a diesel then you know what pain at the pump is.Even with the Beast getting near 20mpg(without the trailer) it still takes a Franklin for 29 gallons of diesel.I am paying $3.59 a gallon right now. When I bought the truck in October diesel was $2.69............Ouch.
An average week of driving for is 500+ miles.
Fuel costs last year for the business were over $6k.

My pops always told me if you can't afford to fill the tank, you can't afford to own it,but that was back when gas was $.74 a gallon.Wonder what he thinks now.
