Gas prices in your AREA

Regular unleaded is now at $0.80 per gallon. Saw it this AM at my local Quik Trip. Premium is $1.00 per gallon. If I drive around I can prolly find it at $0.79 or below for regular. This is NE suburban Atlanta.

When I was in So Cal last weekend I found an ARCO station close to John Wayne Airport with regular at $0.99 per gallon. That's as good as I could find anywhere in So Cal.

I paid $1.03/gal for Premium and saw $.93 for Regular at Costco here in Fort Worth. My neighbor paid $.89 for Regular ar Sam's Club.

Cheapest brand names (i.e. Chevron, Mobil, etc.) is about $1.17 for Premium, $1.05 for Regular.

<strong class='bbc'>About 1.45 to 1.60 in the chicago burbs a gallon for premium (I cant use regular/mid grade). Go downtown and it is about $1.85/gallon or so for premium.

What baffles me is how chicagoland close to the most expensive (if not the most) gas prices but our neighbor, Indiana, has dirt cheap gas.... [/b]</blockquote>
...and I am a witness to the IN thing. Maxine gets "fed" in Hammond, IN where the gas is at least $.20 cheaper than in Chicago. The last time I went out there, gas at the Mobil was $1.06 and gas in my area was $1.26 for regular unleaded. However, Maxine gets fed 89. :D

Louisiana avg = .95

Mississippi avg = .98

Alabama avg = 1.03

Georgia avg = .85

all for 87 octane cheap stuff next to the interstate!

My local Quik Trip that was at $0.80 is now $0.86, with the Texaco across the street at $0.87. This for regular unleaded. Add $0.10 for Plus and $0.20 for Premium.

I noticed that here in Va also. There is an over-supply of oil but the gas companies realize there will be a lot of people traveling for the holiday. Can you say taking advantage of people.

I will bet the prices will go down again right after New Years.

Gas here is now cheap! Havent had this since like 20 years ago.

Only 85 cents a gallon for regular in Costco, add 10 cents for "regular" gas stations. Too bad its creeping back up...

Mr Nightengale,

We are back up to $1.13 to $1.16 per gallon for regular at most places in the capital district area.

20 cents more for the mid grade, and 30 cents more a gallon for the top shelf. I just don't know anyone who uses the 2 higher grades.

And don't go pickin' on the people you call hillbillies cause they can get gas cheaper. The folks down south, that I know, can do lots of good things with their corn squeezin's! Trust me! Enjoy!

:p you kill me Bill.....cant believe its 20 cents cheaper i the same friggin state....but then gain...if i go 20 miles to CT or NJ...its just like yours ............BTW....

Marshall....i thought they would jack the prices up near SuperBowl time down by you(get it by you/bayou)...i slay myself

hey marshall....i heard the security down there is absolutely insane....and at the game...cant have any banners...any binoculars...nothing...no coolers.....it must be crazy with all the game stuff and mardi gras
