Gas prices in your AREA

hey gmn,

there is a little town outside lexington that i have been buying gas at for .99. it's not that low all the time but if i watch em' i can catch it that low from time to time.

it was $1.18 here in lexington last night. this is regular unleaded btw.

Friend of mine told me they had regular at 0.96 in Mississippi last week but it has climbed back up to 1.05.

i bought it at the .99 earlier this week but i didn't notice the price yesterday. it's amazing this town is like 5 minutes outside lexington and you can't even tell when you leave one and enter the other but yet gas is almost .20 cheaper. how does that make sense?????

Gas will continue to go down some then level off. There is flying going on, less people working and driving to work. Less people taking vacations. The demand for gas is less so the prices are cheaper.

Right now the gas price for regular here in Cincinnati is $1.13. Yesterday it was $1.03, they raise the price every Thursday or Friday for the weekend and then it goes back down again Monday......what a joke

About 1.45 to 1.60 in the chicago burbs a gallon for premium (I cant use regular/mid grade). Go downtown and it is about $1.85/gallon or so for premium.

What baffles me is how chicagoland close to the most expensive (if not the most) gas prices but our neighbor, Indiana, has dirt cheap gas....

Gas prices here are gettin' dirt cheap, well not exactly. $1.48 at the local 76 for Premium, about 20 cents less for regular. Costco is usually about 10-15 cents cheaper...

when i was going thru connecticut on wed of this wk the premium i got there was 1.56/gal....and thats only about 45 mins from my house....both were Mobil stations.....luckily my company pasy for all the gas....:p

The gas prices plunged (downward) for the past few days. Right now, regular is only about $1.20 and premium is about $1.45. A lot cheaper than this summer!

Paying $1.20 to $1.25 for 87 octane, near Albany N.Y., this week. Premium is about 20 to 25 cents a gallon higher.

Artice in the paper today says we should have $.99 gas in about a month here.

Another article says Russia is pumping oil for $15.00 dollars a barrel, and will not slow production to match OPEC's price ceiling. It seems they can't slow production because of the cold weather coming and the antiquated equipment they have.

So put the 2X4 barrel carbs back on the small block, bump up the cam, and do some heavy driving! Enjoy!

Don't worry...next year when we start taking Iraq apart, the price rebound will more than make up for this little dip...

H :( :( (Always the optimist) :( :(
