guess there are followers of this. after watching this, i wondered what it was all about. guess dont knock it till you try it. i was not impressed. at all. guess if your limited to not having running water this is way to go. guess i am old school. give me running water and the gilmour foam gun. a good soap. a good MF wash mitt.

there is no way his method would clean a really dirty car.

There are no water restrictions where I currently live and I do prefer the GDWM. In the winters or during the middle of the day I can wash my cars in the garage.

I don't believe this method is for really dirty cars. Todd posted a nice chart for proper washing. Let me find it.

For Traditional Method:

I have tried and really do like this wash method. On my truck that mostly sits outside & I don't drive this works great. It is black so it gets warm and is not fun when I need to wash it in the sun or outside.

If a car is really dirty I can use a pressure washer to get most of the dirt off and then use this method. But if I have everything out I use the big 2BM...

I had called the foam then rinseless method the Mike Linane Method.

I believer the wash method (even within a type) should match the situation. Gary does not sell a regular soap so expect the push all aspects of rinseless type washing. But even the rinseless method has nuances (panel size, etc). I always do a door in sections (glass, upper door, lower door, below along bottom).

It's not intended to and he doesn't claim that it will.

Yes he does, it is called Infinite Suds Auto Spa Shampoo.

I wash 2x a week and will always use rinseless.....only when i get back into a house and have a really dirty car will a hose come out. I can do my car in 15 min flat, no problem. And I have no problem modfying Gary's method: I wash in the shade, and wash whole car (1 towel per panel or so) and then dry. Every 3nd wash a wipe down with wolfgang spritz.

If you want to stick to more traditional washing, try his Perfect Wash Method.

When the weather isn't cooperating, the GDWM is a great way to keep the vehicle looking sharp.

My mom would be so proud. :rofl

I have been using Garry Dean's detail juice and it is beyond a good product with so many options. A no rinse wash is a solution for light dirt and speed. Detail Juice is a great product but you need to understand they way it was intended to be used. Your not going to get spotless wheels. Think of it as a high end car wash. If you take your time and have the MF towels you can do a no rinse that is awesome with the detail juice.
I do no rinse washes on return clients within 2 weeks of a detail. After 2 weeks on an 24/7 outside car it's 2BM.
