Its there for a reason otherwise it wouldn't be there. No?

What Does The Gall Bladder Do?

The Gall Bladder is a storage vessel for liver bile. It acts as a reservoir for holding bile on its way from the liver to the intestines.

The gallbladder is not a vital organ :

While thats true its not vital it serves a purpose.

If the GB is diseased theres prolly not a whole lot you can do but remove it but if its clogged with stones from a high fat diet. Wouldn't you rather help clean it up then risk surgery?:nixweiss

Why would anyone take the risk of surgery when there are other options? :nixweiss

Are you talking about the lithotripsy type treatment for Gall stones or some other treatments?

If you mean with an ultrasound treatment or the like then no. Gall stones can be softened and expelled out of the body with common kitchen ingredients. Apple juice is known to soften GS and the stones can be excreted thru your stool following the procedure I posted above.

I have passed many many stones. :)

Oh yeah, definitely with you on that - I don't want anyone taking bits of me away, when I clearly can ease the problem myself.

I dunno why though, but the two girls in the office weren't offered the 'opportunity' of trying the dietary approach first.....well, that's what they told us ! They are both quite 'large' girls, and obviously got into this situation through a poor diet in the first place. So whether they just didn't want to try the diet, or whether they weren't offered it is something I guess we'll never know. ;)

I doubt any MD would recommend the procedure I mentioned which isn't a diet. But a way to clean out the stones. Then you need to change your diet so they don't build up again. I didn't believe it would work until I tried it. I was shocked and painless the next day. :)

Docs wouldn't recommend it as theres no $ to be made. No pills to push.

Most Americans eat a SAD diet (standard american diet) fast fatty junk, which is all meats, dairy and sweets. Stay away from these and stick to a plant based diet.

you'll be amazed how great you'll feel

Docs push pills until they hit on something that works. I had high BP about 2 years ago. Went to the doc and she told me to take XYZ, well 3 months later my BP hadn't changed. She said well take 2 of XYZ, 3 months later I still had HBP. Now she said well lets try something else. Same thing went on for a year and still HBP.

I did a fast and in 2 days my BP was in the 115-120 70-80 range. The food we eat is the cause for most if not all ailments.
