Galaxy Extractor Demo For Me!

Beemerboy

Just One More Coat
I was at my local detail store today and was asking about extractors...I have wanted one for a couple of years now...he has Mytee and Galaxy (I've not heard of) but said that he had just got this one in and gave it to me for a week to trail...

It has an external heater which is good in-case it breaks or you want to use just the heating unit with a hose...big plus IMO..its a 5 gallon model...I'm really looking forward to seeing what this thing can do.

Here is a link to the model that I have it comes heated and not heated...this one has the detachable heater

Sweet Deal Beemerboy!!!! Dont forget to post some before and after pics of the carpets. And Good Luck using it out. Ever since i heard of them i wanted to try one but im 16 yrs old and i dont have that kind of money in my Pockets lol

cant wait to see some before and after pics....get some really filthy interior details and let us know how you like it...by the way how much does the unit cost?

I'm not sure but around a $1000 I really want the Mytee model but he didn't have any in stock...and wanted to wait until May to order his next shipment...so this one was on the floor and he wanted to see how I like it

If I decide to buy this I can get it in three installments so that gives me 90 days to get the cash up....I figure that I can get it to pay for itself in no time

POCKETS

Thanks

I did a search for the specs to this unit. All I can say is wow! Very nice unit. Should be able to clean the floor pans thru the carpet with this one. :bigups Good luck with it Beemerboy and please post some pictures.

It sounds like you have a pretty good business relationship with that guy to get a demo on a machine like that. Make sure to let us know how everything works out with it.

I used the extractor on Sunday,,,the car that I did wasn't the worst, but stained up pretty good...this machine rocked...one thing that I liked is the heavy feel to the handle very sturdy feeling...It saved me a lot of time while going threw the car and did a great job...much better than my brush / water and shop vac process....the hose is 15 feet long so you can leave the unit in one place which is nice...the 5 gallon tank is nice as well not having to mess with changing fluids while working on a car

Sorry I didn't take any pics camera was up stairs and I was trying to get this job done

That's exciting. I remember when we got our extractor. You will love it. I promise.

Interiors will get cleaner then you ever tough possible (OK maybe not that clean but i needed something)

so does it have the in-line heated thing, or is it a separate heated tank? either way its a nice feature

Has a separate detachable heater that can be used as a water heater alone..so far its something that I really like

Are you still using this extractor? How do you like it? Could you post the model or a link to it, the one above doesn't work for me. Thanks!

Yeah I can't seem to find a 5 gallon model at all. If you know of or find out any other info please post.
Thanks

but how do you like it;)

Steve I posted what I thought of the machine in this thread...as a recap...It was a great unit...good lift...extremely hot water..easy to use...made the jobs go a lot faster and a more professional look...however I decided not to buy it after all...it was way over kill for the amount of cars that I do...I just couldn't justify the cost for the amount of use that it got

I would like to find a smaller one that wouldn't cost as much. I also don't do enough cars to justify the prices some of these are. I would be willing to fill and empty more often if it meant lower cost.

any detailing supplies or equipment are absolutely ok to buy at anytime ..regardless of cost ...:rofl :dnaughty  ..my latest shopping spree is getting out of hand:dnaughty
