G110 backing plate question.

Garry Dean Quality!
Anyone use a 6" backing plate with your G110? I generally use only 6.5" pads and notice that when I apply pressure to the pad, the stock backing plate leaves about a half inch in diameter of the pad exposed, therefore, not allowing all of the surface area of the pad to receive pressure. I ordered a 6" backing plate today. Anyone notice any extra vibration with a bigger bp?

:cool I prefer smaller backing plate allows more correction. On rotary my pads hang off about an inch allows to work around tight spots. but for GOD'S sake be carefull as for it will correct paint to metal.Good Luck  :dcrules
