and I see you are using optimum stuff pretty much on a lot of your cars now....do you like it better than meguiars products, or are you just using it based on car conditions...
I go full on Meguiars for polishing on single stage paints, the trade secret oils really make a huge difference. I find Meguiars works better on softer paints or paint prone to hazing, like black G35s and Cayennes and also, oddly enough, on BMWs. Optimum is better on harder paints and removes defect more quickly.
by the way, do you ever detail a car that is in not such great condition???? every car I see from you is pretty much new, or only a coupl eyears old/old but in superb condition....
That is the advantage of being in business a long time and having a lot of regular customers. I maintain their cars so they don't get too bad in between details. But yes, I have done some really bad cars.

Beason-I have 3 full cans, and one about 85% full that I will give to my son when he goes back to his Mom's at the end of the summer since he and a friend want to do exterior details in their area on weekends for extra money. 3 cans should last me a good 5 years since I get around 70 wax jobs per can. On paint in good shape, Optimum Polish buffed off with OCW and topped with #16 is a killer and quick combo.

Yes, I will be sad when I run out but I will see what I can do about getting another tin or two, maybe see if Mike Phillips will part with his case of#16.

BTW, #16 on a white Expidition that sits in the sun all day and I wash conventionally is still beading like crazy a full 3.5 months after application. Not bad for a wax that came out in the early 50s.
