Funky/Old Products

Thought this might be a fun thread. What kind of old, discontinued, or funky detailing products do you guys have? I've got some weird stuff laying around, like Auri Gold Polish and car wash, Dura Glo Polish, Dura Shine Vinyl Care stuff, Craftsman Car Wax, and a metal can of Flitz from who knows how long ago. It says that it's a product of West Germany. :eek I've also got this Glo Shield stuff that says it must be removed using mineral spirits. Oy vay. I was so dumb. :nono

Hmm, let's see... my wife bought some Liquid Lustre before I met her and I've used it on occasion. It's not half bad at removing some scratches. I also have an old can of EO Carnauba paste wax I must have bought over 15 years ago. The only other thing I have is the remnants of a bottle of TW Black Chrome which I still use, just about gone though!

I've got this can of weird Paste wax from Japan that I picked up when I was in California. It's really, really firm which leads me to believe that it has a lot of carnauba in it. I'm not sure of the brand as I don't read or speak japanese but I think it's the soft99 corporation. The only legible thing on the tin in English was "That we us could bring you user all the best wax that would deeply satisfy all the users yes".

Simonize Paste Wax! I remember it well, just better not get any on the trim or it will be white forever, and don't put it on the paint too heavy or that will also be white forever, and definately don't apply in the sun or else...............OK, you get the picture. Other then those few minor problems it was pretty good stuff. :rofl

Here is my oldest product. Here are some words of wisdome off the (tin) can.

use only liquid household detergents (not powdered) and rinse thoroughly if car is very dirty.

use soft rags for applications (like cotton undershirts)

if swallowed give milk
