Full Detail + PC

I am pulling my car out of storage this weekend. The plan is a full interior detail followed by liquid claybar, NO Rinse wash, polish and then wax. Is this the right order? I picked up a can of Nu Finish polish and some NXT wax. Can I apply that polish with the PC?

Wash and then clay. Yes you can apply Nu Finish with a pc.

Is it just me, or have there been a rather large number of Nu Finish posts lately?

I don't know about that, I'm new here. I actually picked up a can of the soft paste at Walmart pretty cheap. They claim that this stuff last once a year.

lol... Megs also claims that Gold Class wax offers "unbeatable protection" when it reality it lasts about a week. Don't believe what's on the bottle, that word called Marketing is what's on the label. I would recommend using a REAL clay bar. Because Turtle Wax Quick Detailing spray... I mean "liquid clay bar" isn't going to do what a real clay bar will.

Hey Stang,

welcome to the forums.

I'd recommend you do a search about that nu finish, and be especially careful if you're still new to detailing in general or via PC.

I've read some pretty nasty things around here about it :(

Take care, and all the best

Are you using NXT or NXT 2.0? In eithe case, I don't think you need the Nu Finish, although I can't speak to its claims of "once a year".

I'd put on two coats of NXT 12 hours apart.

Of course not. I probably should have worded it better, but I was talking about "nu finish", NOT the PC.
