I absolutely HATE Volkswagen clutches except for the R32's. Did you find that one to be decent, or did you not drive it? God, you like tap the pedal and it goes all the way to the floor.
 
That Cabrio does look brand new! Great job Thomas. Very wet looking.



My '01 VW clutch doesn't do that and it has 104,500 miles :think: My g/f's new Rabbit is an easier (it doesn't do what you explain) clutch than mine but she also has a smaller less powerful engine. Unless your driving a high horse power monster why would one want a stiff clutch?

I think it adjusts itself to your style. I've driven this one before but no issues for me. I also drive a vw. Seems to work fine. I love german engineering.

Question what steamer did you use and what was you process to get between the wedges?
