Like the title. I am selling the Makita 9227. Bought it a few months back from kleraudio; he used 1-2 times. Nothing wrong with it at all, The U-Handle is a little scraped from being laid down.

$140shipped. I dont know how much these go for and don't care to search. Let me know your best offer. I know what I paid and what its worth.

I am selling due to the fact, I need money. LoL

Plus I want the flex.:chuckle:

It will include:

- Makita Polisher

- 5" Hook N Loop BP

- Makita Bag

- I MAY have the wrench.

I will get pictures up soon.

I tired to PM you, but cant?

You can get a new one on ebay for about that much with out much trouble. PM me and we'll talk.

darn, I really would have picked this up if the handle were'nt so scratched up. I know I know im anal like that. Free bump

That handle will just get as scraped up if you bought a new one and actually used it. You're not buying a collector's item here. It's a tool. Now if your reason for not buying it was because you think a scraped up handle = a used and abused tool, then I can understand your reasoning behind that. But to be honest with you, my Makita hasn't had much use either and my handle looks about as scraped up. It's just a cosmetic blemish.

Haha no doubt. Buy one and set it down on concrete 5-10times. It will look just like that.

Want a video of it running? If I can get a video camera lol

the handle has to be real cheap to replace if that is your onlt issue with it

I saw none for BUY IT NOW at $80-$110... I guarantee those prices will be $130+ near the end. The one that was $110 actually ended on Jan. 29th.

Don't like the price, don't post. Sounds like a good plan.

I don't think there's a wrench that originally comes with it and one's not needed anyway.

hmmm im assuming you needed one to remove the backing plate? Ive never used one so im thinking a similar wrench is needed like the pc that is very skinny in size.

I found the wrench to remove the U Handle. But to remove the backing plate. I don't have the supplied wrench because it never came with it. But a simple open end wrench would be enough.

EDIT: Have both. The one that looks like the PC Wrench and the little wrench thingy for the U handle bolts. If you need pictures, let me know.

As far as removing the backing plate, it's not like the PC where the special, flat wrench is required. There's a locking mechanism on the head of the tool that you press and that is how you put on and remove your backing plate. IIRC, the screw for the handle requires an allen wrench to tighten.
