Frozed. Did I ruin all my products?

I left my supplies (qd, wax, wash, polish, etc) in my trunk today and found out that they all froze. Are they rendered useless? Dam, I hate my self so much now.

I've done this. You'l lprobably have to try them individually and make sure, but for the most part, you should be ok

It also depends on which products specifically, like who made them. I know System One polish can be frozen and thawed a few times to no ill effect. I would guess the wash would be fine, the wax maybe depending on if its wax or if it paint sealant...etc.

If they separate and won't go back together with shaking, they are toast. Been there, done that, it sucks.

ONR, Optiseal, Power Clean, Black Magic Tire Spray, NXT Glass, FK125, KAIO, OCW.

The optiseal didnt freeze at all. What do you mean by "separate"? How do I detect this?

put them inside the house where it's a little warmer and when they thaw out, give them a good shake and see if they are still seperated. if so, introduce them to the trash can. you can also try using them and see if you notice any difference as well...

I have never had a problem with a product freezing and not working in the summer. If they separate, it is like oil and water. Usually if you get them warm and shake the crap out of them, they will work just fine.

3-4 years ago I froze a bunch of products that all specifically said "Do not freeze" on the bottles. I just let them warm up and shook for a long time. All where fine and none separated. Not really adding anything to the thread other than some reassurance I guess! Good luck.

since most of my stuff stays in the car all the time I've had this happen a few times where I was too lazy to go get stuff out of the car.

Only product I've really ever had troubles with was a bottle of Zaino Z2 that froze, then separated and even after I shook it and got it back to one consistancy that bottle never worked right again. Eventually threw it away as you'd get it on the paint and it'd NEVER cure. Just smeared itself around the surface when you'd try to remove it.

+1 to trying each. some will probably be ok, some will be ruined.

the point is that the freezing temps will force some of the product's water particals to seperate for the other parts, and once this happens, some of the products will not "mix back" correctly. those that do mix back will b fine. those that seperate and do not mix back properly are no longer good.

g/l....and been there- it sucks. lucky i havent lost anything expensive
