front end masks

PA DETAILER

DETAILED TODAY?
yea or nay? like lebra. the vinyl type. guess they have a history of runing paint etc.... guess the 3m clear bras are the new trend. with winter coming, just curious if they improved the vinly type?

Have I mentioned that I really do not care for car bras? ;)
Yes I believe you got your point across. :D

If someone is worried about rock chips what is more effective than a Bra and a lot saver is do not tail gate.

Most rock chips accrue when you are too close only problem I have is when I leave a reasonable distance between me and the vehicle ahead some Jackass will pull in their :wall

You mean people rob you of your safe following distance there too? I hate that. I wonder what would happen to the paint under a vinyl bra if the owner would remove it and wash it every time he/she washes the car so that the dirt doesn't build up underneath it and act as sandpaper.?..

Getting a bra off isn't always that easy to do, though....

Just sayin' :notme:

I'll be getting my car's front end protected with 3M Clear Bra in the next few months. It's a bit pricey but sometimes you gotta pay to play.

I don't personally suggest front end masks, but when the car is prepped properly and maintained regularly, they do the job.

I have one for my IS350. I put it on when I know I'm going on a long trip. Before I put it on, I always QD the front (since my vehicles are perpetually waxed.;)) and I never leave it on for more than a few days. Proper maintenance is the key. I've had it for over two years and I haven't had any issues whatsoever with it.

And yes, I was the bra after every time I use it to prevent dirt build up.
