Well, I drove from NYC to Reno during the winter and my front end got beat up. I think the situation is bad, but most people will not notice it. OCD people, of course will.
The front lip and parts of the bumper almost look like they have been sand blasted (which they probably were). The finish is not smooth and almost looks like there is a film over it (it looks like there is salt on it, but is not). It is a white colored film, which goes away if i wet the surface, buit immediatley reappears when dry.
I was thinking about repainting the parts, but I would rather try to work on them myself. I have a PC and a orange cutting pad, Menzerna IP. That would have been my first try.
Anybody have any suggestions?
