Having just bought (October) a 2012 Tundra CM and not having a new car for 20 years I'm interested in having it look at good as possible. Good as possible is key as it is 14 miles of dirt roads to my house and sometimes a few inches of mud can't be avoided. Armed with a foam cannon and and power washer, haven't used the cannon yet.
Here my first questions:
1. I scratched the rear driver's side door twice by the b-pillar, once with a coat button, the other with a clip on my knife. I went down to primer and this is making me sick, best way to fix?
2. By what I'm reading, the new environmental friendly paints are not very durable, is there a product that I can apply to protect the paint beyond wax, maybe a sealer?
I won't be able to go as nuts as most of you but look forward to hopefully someday being able to contribute.
Thanks all!
