Boo Hoo :D

Such is the life of a detailer.

Today I worked on this car for 6.5 hours, minimal swirls and just a vac on the interior. Just a joy to work on porsche paint.

Tomorrow I get to work on this train wreck.

Its a one step polish and they do not want the carpet extracted. Headlights will get wetsanded out.

Yes that is bonded dirt on the trunk. Most of the paint feels like 80 grit sandpaper.

Maybe I should just pressure wash the interior.

Mr clean magic eraser, APC and the steamer will be working overtime.

Love the Prosche , but the next one.:scared:Boo Hoo well that's a different story. But knowing you it's going to be looking like new again...........

The Porsche looks magnificent!!!:notworthy:

The trashed beater looks like the one I did today!!!:cursing:

Just look at it as a good workout.:D

(I'm sure it won't look like a beater this time tomorrow!):cornut:

Oh man that is nasty! :scared: but what great before and after pictures they will be! What are you using on the door?

Man that looks great! I dont like working on really dirty cars like this but man I love seeing the transformation and the owners reaction :)

HEY----Dont laugh-almost all of my current customers' cars look like that or worse (interior) after 2-3 weeks!!!!! Cant their freaken kids ride in the car WITHOUT some kind of food in their fat little hands---most of it ends up in the dad gum carpet--but I rant!!:cursing::cursing:

One step polish with M86 and a orange LC classic via KBM, finished with Blackfire wet diamond sealant. Headlights sanded with 2k unigrit (the best paper) and polished out with M105 on a 4" LC classic orange via PC.

If this was not the clients 3rd car that they brought me, there would of been a serious upcharge for the interior.

The car turned out great! But you're right about up-charging for nasty interiors. People need to reallize that there is a price to pay for allowing an interior to get like that! If you want to trash it, fine; but you're gonna pay!!!

is there an interior cleaner that doesn't smell as my wife has chemical allergies. i cleaned her interior last summer and she couldn't get in it for a month and a half... and i had to cover it and keep all the windows down....sheesh

A steam cleaner would be your best bet. No chemicals just uses steam to clean and does a damn good job at it!

Man my moms interior was terrible! I didnt even do it all like I normally would have cuz it was just nasty and was gonna be nasty again soon! Last time I rode with her she was drinking a cup of water from a eating lunch tossed it back and pulled out a water bottle. Drank it and threw it in back and got another one!!! It drove me crazy :D and my dad cares but not like I care, dusty and a little dirt is fine to him! I am nothing like my family at all in most things:D
