Friend's dog maced by Postal Worker, caught on tape.

They need to return the favor. She was definitely planning this attack. I hope no physical problems arise for the dogs down the road.

Was there a note up about where to deliver packages? I missed that part.
 
I would usually say postal workers have a right to defend themselves but she clearly know the dog was there and anticipated it. The worst part is the apparent laughter afterward and the smug look on her face afterward.

Is it common practice now for postal workers to wear nitrile gloves? Or was this premeditated?
 
There's no excuse for this type of behavior and she was definitely waiting for that little tyke to come running out. I'd like to hit her with some pepper spray strapped to the end of my aluminum bat! :bonk:

This story was on our news yesterday

I had a mailman try to kick my dog once, we ended up getting in an altercation. Next thing I knew my house was surrounded by law enforcement from 3 different agencys

OH yea, most people aren't aware that the US Postal Service has it's own police force.....Postal Police...this is no joke, they're real...they carry guns..... and you and I pay for them.....

Poor dogs! That is freakn messed up.
I was expecting to see some massive dog run up to her, that I could understand MAYBE why the dog got maced. Those are little ankle bitters!
 
I like dogs but just don't have the inkling to own one but it does just sadden me when I see people like this treat animals like that. It sure look like she had planned all along what she was going to do. Why would she walk in and then step out and back in again. Especially since she already had the spray in her hand and as Todd mentioned since when do they where latex gloves. I would maybe suggest that the owner place a sign in the door something like deliveries around the side of the building or some such thing like that. I hope the dogs are doing fine.

Yea, those guys showed up, along with the locals and it seems like one the other big dogs. You would've thought I'd murdered someone :bubba

I had no idea my mailman was considered a federal agent :inspector: that guy never delievered my mail again after that day :rockon
 
Please keep us posted, Todd. I hate to see things like this. I am a huge dog lover. I have 3 and they are my kids. I have no kids of my own so they get my wife's and I full love and attention.
 
Sad to see that happen. Looked like she wanted the dog to come out after her by the way she looked for it and went back to the door and then back again.
 
i love dogs and really hope the dog owner follows this up and pushes the complaint to the highest levels. like the aspca says " we are their voice"
 
Im sorry the dogs got maced ,that sucks.

But the detective in me would have to see more from different angles and hear whats going on to make a judment .

Ive had a couple of my own perfectly sweet and tame dogs turn vicious before .Dogs can be unpredictable,especially if you havent raised them from puppies.

Also little dogs can jump and go for the groin,so theres plenty reason to be afraid of them if they are attacking you.
