Well, i'm still experimenting with products and techniques. I got my friend Matt to let me do his Scion about a week ago and i think it turned out rather good. The paint is pretty neglected. The car is a daily driver and rarely gets washed. The wheels were caked with brake dust. The paint went through 2 clay bars and had heavy contamination. The upside to not washing the car often was that the paint was relatively swirl free. Chips and scratches; yes. But not too many swirls or spiderwebs. Process was:

Dawn wash & dry
Mothers clay
Meg Gold wash & dry
Meg's Tech Wax 2.0; single coat
interior and wheel clean & tire shine
RainX all exterior glass
overnight 12 hour cure
Mothers Pure Carnauba; single coat

Looks nice...shame not to keep a great looking car like that clean and shining. Your friend better let you keep it looking great.lol nice job.
 
Thanks guys. Yeah it will look like crap very soon unless i convince him to have me do weekly or at least bi-weekly washes and touch-ups.

The metallic flake has such a rainbow colored pop in person. Topping Tech Wax with a Carnauba has been working out pretty well. Can't wait to try my EX-P and top it with some different carnaubas.
