I finished detailing the '96 3.2TL I just bought a few weeks ago. It needed some major TLC. After a couple of days working on it. It looks like brand new!! Here're some pics:

Tell me what you guys think. :)

Haha...totally forgot. Here's what I did:

Dawn wash

Clay

SMR with orange pad to get rid of all the swirls

NXT

Topped off with S100

In a a couple of months, I will strip everything and do the Klasse twins.

Does look like a new car! Congrats!

Do you have any before pictures with the swirls in it? How long did it take you and hhow much time did you spend with the SMR?

Excellent work! Enjoy!

Thanks guys!! It is hard to keep clean. I came back to school yesterday totally dust free and it's totally covered in dust now.

I wish I had the before pics but I totally forgot to take them. I'll do that next time.

Looks awesome, like brand new! :up

I see you put in clear corners already, they look really good.

GREAT work!! :xyxthumbs

I bet if you showed the car to its last owners that they wouldn't even recognize it now!!

Hmm... I thought I recognized that car! How's it working so far, did you ever get that ABS thing fixed?

The pics look great! :xyxthumbs

Thanks man!!! The car is awesome!! The ABS problem is finally fixed. It had a bad accumulator so they replaced it. They also replaced all the fluids in the car. That was about $800. Then the brake pedal wasn't feeling right because it went straight to the floor so they also replaced the master cylinder for $350. So a total of $1,150 of repairs because the first owner didn't take care of it. Either way, it was still an awesome deal.

Thanks, Scott!!!

Eric, there were pics and I used to have a link but I deleted it once I got the car.

EDIT: Found a pic I saved in my computer. Here ya go:
