FREE Meguiar's stuff

Got my free tire shine today :) Here are some quick pictures!!

I really like this, I usually dont use "shiny or wet" dressings...but man...I sprayed this one, waited about a 2 minutes then wiped off the excess. I really like the look, it isnt too shiny for my tastes and I think Im going to continue to use it. Is there anything wrong with using this in the wheel wells? I also applied it there and it looks great, just want to make sure it's alright. Please post your pics and mini reviews as your free items come in the mail!! Thanks Meguiars! :)



As you see my rotors are starting to show a lil brownish color, can I get rid of this using #0000 steel wool? I plan on paiting my calipers and drums in the coming week, weather permitting.
 
Josh: nice before/afters of your tire. I think the dressing looks good. Which dressing was used? The Insane tire shine or hot shine foam? Also what method was it shipped? USPS, UPS, FedEx? Just curious.

first of all, do NOT use steel wool on your rotors...if you want them nice and silver, either drive the car hard for a few miles with heavy braking or have a reputable shop turn the rotors for you...



and your wheels are filty...why tire shine with dirty rims??
 
I didnt think my rims were dirty :nixweiss Unless the picture is playing tricks on you. I just cleaned them yesterday? I know the inner rim is dirty, but I havent ordered any P21S yet to clean them. The after picture rims should look better than the before because I polished the rear rim yesterday but not the front yet. Thanks for the idea on the rotors, it was in storage during winter so I'll probably just use the braking idea. It was shipping via UPS,and I recieved the Insane Tire Shine.



-Off to go polish the rest of my rims and figure out a plan for my paint!
 
Did I miss the deadline or something? I added one to my cart and it still showed the price. Or do I have to go through the checkout before it zeros out?

Got my insane tire shine yesterday. Shipped UPS from some place in MO. Haven't had a chance to use it yet. Thanks, Meguiars and forum for heads up on this freebie. :xyxthumbs

I haven't had my GP since 2000 so I forgot that those aren't chrome, but polished aluminum...no matter how much I cleaned em, they never looked shiny to me...

Yes they are a pain in the ..... I just try to clean them up, never expecting good results :(

Me neither, us Michiganders probably just have to wait a little longer. Does anybody know if there is difference between the free insane tire shine in the squirt bottles and the aerosol cans of the past?

I actually opted for the interior wipes because Ive never used any meguires products on the interior. I did stock up on insanse tire shine aerosol cans when target had them on sale. Thats why I was wondering if there was any difference in this newly packaged spray. And come to think of it, is there any difference between stoners spray and aerosol glass cleaner? This probably isnt the place, Im going to do a search later lol.

Got my Insane Shine yesterday!!

The Stoner's rep at AIWA (like SEMA) said there was no difference , just trying to appeal to the domestic market more.
