someone correct me if im wrong but i believe they are both quick detailers. i dont have the 4star UGE but ive heard good things about it. i have the meguiars final inspection #34 and i am tempted to give 4star UGE a try after i waste my #34.
my friend has the poorboys spray and gloss and he says he really likes it alot.

PBSG is awsome. I have it. The 4*UGE is good also. My friend had them.

I have both. I love them both. 
I find that the UGE is easier to use, and the S&G is slightly more versatile.
Both pack an end result that is extremely impressive.
Both have their places on my shelf with equal used.

Even if i didnt like UGE id buy it simply to smell it everyday. I am so addicted to it. Out of my entire arsenal its the best smelling stuff.

I also like them both "A LOT"! 
However, I do feel that the S & G gives just a bit more "POP".

Does either of these products work better with thier counterpart? 4*UPP followed by the 4*UGE, and EX or EX-P followed by the S&G? Just curious.
